Will Liverpool End Losing Streak Against Arsenal?

Liverpool aims to end their losing streak against the Gunners and maintain their perfect start to the 2020/21 Premier League season, on Monday evening, 28 September at Anfield.

The Reds suffered defeat the last two times they met Arsenal – a 2-1 loss at the Emirates Stadium in July, and recently, a 5-4 defeat in August during the FA Community Shield final at Wembley Stadium.

Both teams have won their first two matches of the season and will be eagerly hoping to extend their run to three.

Arsenal’s team has improved since the appointment of Mikel Arteta in 2019 – they’ve recorded victories over big giants, such as Chelsea and Man City and will aim to give the current EPL champions a run for their money.
However, there is a feeling around Anfield that it is payback time, with the Reds considered to be favourites to win the game.

Liverpool has reinforced their team by adding world-class midfielder, Thiago Alcantara, a man who broke the Premier League pass record in just 45 minutes during his Liverpool debut last week Sunday, 20 September.
