Warriors into Cosafa Cup semi-final

Namibia’s Brave Warriors beat Madagascar 2-0 in their quarter-final match in Durban on Tuesday to reach the last four of the 2022 COSAFA Cup tournament.
After a goalless first half, Absalom Iimbondi struck the first blow five minutes later from the penalty spot, after a foul on Rudath Wendall.
Wendall added a dramatic goal after 65 minutes – drawing the defender right up to the goal-line, about ten metres from the right-hand goal post, before pulling the trigger and somehow beating the embarrassed goalkeeper.
Namibia advance to the semi-final on Friday at 16:00 against the winner of Zambia or Botswana.
