Trezeguet “Committed” to Aston Villa

Aston Villa winger, Trezeguet, has shut down reports that he is leaving the English Premier League outfit for a Turkish club.

The 25-year-old Egyptian – who initially joined Villa from Turkish outfit, Kasimpasa SK, on loan in 2017 – cemented his place at the club after signing a five-year contract worth £8.75 million last summer.

With no prior experience of English soccer, Trezeguet has since made 27 appearances for Villa, scoring only four goals in the process.

Over the weekend, reports emerged that Trezeguet was thinking about returning to playing in Turkey by signing a contract with one of the country’s top clubs, Besiktas JK.

However, the winger insisted in a recent interview that he is staying put at the English club.

He said: “I am committed to the contract. Playing in the Premier League was a dream for me, so I am completely focused on that step.”
