Spurs Stars Sorry for Breaking Social Distancing Rules

Tottenham Hotspur stars, Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko, have both issued apologies for flouting social distancing rules amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to British government guidelines, people can only exercise by themselves or with others that they live with.
In a video posted to Aurier’s Instagram account on Tuesday, 21 April, the defender and his team-mate, midfielder Sissoko, are seen running shuttles and sitting next to each other. The former is also seen wearing a mask.
It is not clear where the video – which has since been deleted – was filmed.
In a joint statement, the pair owned up to their actions, saying: “We recognise that as professional footballers, we have a responsibility to be role models, particularly during this uncertain period that everyone around the world is facing.”
They added: “We wish to apologise for not setting the right example here. We must all respect the Government [sic] advice to minimise the number of lives lost during this pandemic.”
Aurier and Sissoko also pledged to make a financial donation to the National Health Service.
