Record Milestone Only the Beginning for Erling Haaland

Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, has shown that he has a bright future ahead of him when he netted two goals to give his side a 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain yesterday, Tuesday 18 February.

The 19-year-old Norwegian footballer scored UEFA Champions League two goals within eight minutes of each other respectively last night, with the first happening at the 69th-minute.

Not only did his foot win the game, he also broke a Lionel Messi milestone; he has scored 10 goals in just seven appearances in the competition, surpassing Messi’s total of eight before turning 21.

Haaland is the only other teenager to bag that many goals. However, the record was first held by Kylian Mbappe, who was the first to net 10 goals in a single season.

The footballing youngster is excited about the future, saying: “I still need to improve, keep working. I want to go far in the Champions League. With the second goal, I enjoyed the moment.”
