Real Madrid CF are reportedly keen to sign up Rayan Cherki, one of the most in-demand footballers in the world – and he’s only a teenager.

The 16-year-old Olympique Lyon forward has shown immense promise after becoming the youngest player ever to score a senior goal for the club in their 7-0 win over Bourg-Peronnas in the Coupe de France competition earlier this year.

According to reports, Los Blancos coach, Zinedine Zidane, admires Cherki and intends to fight for his signature.

Apparently the feeling is mutual, as the young French forward recently said that he could see himself playing in Zidane’s team.

In an interview on Lyon’s official channel, OLTV, he said: “My dream club aside from Lyon? It’s Real Madrid.”

Cherki is reportedly worth €20 million, despite only making 12 appearances across all competitions, and scoring three goals this season. With this number in mind, Lyon are likely to demand more for their record-breaking golden boy.
