Football transfer agent, Kia Joorabchian, has revealed that former Liverpool attacking midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, is interested in making a return to England.

The Brazilian footballer spent five years at Liverpool but left for Barcelona in 2018 in an attempt to fill Neymar’s shoes, who forced a transfer to Paris St. Germain.

However, Coutinho has failed to meet the expectations at the Nou Camp and was sent to Bayern Munich on a season-long loan with an option of signing him, but the German champions decided not to make the move permanent.

Amidst transfer rumours regarding his client, Joorabchian confirmed that the Brazilian has expressed interest in returning to EPL.

He said: “He [Coutinho] has a desire to come back to the Premier League at some point. It may not happen this year, it may happen this year but we don’t know. We really have not discussed anything for now.”

The 27-year-old has recently been linked to different Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, Leicester City, Newcastle United with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur leading the race.
