Mourinho Shares His Three Greatest Footballers

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has released a list of three players he considers the greatest of all time, although it looks like he omitted Brazilian icon, Ronaldo, and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

From time to time, based on his experience, the 57-year-old self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ names his top three footballers in history.

This time Mourinho picked Argentine Lionel Messi, Brazilian Pele and the legendary [Diego] Maradona.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, was also left out despite always being on Mourinho’s lists.

He said: “[Ronaldo] is the best. The best in the world, yes. Probably the best ever”.

Ever since their time at Real Madrid – they won the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga and a Copa del Rey together – CR7 has always been respectful and forever sings praise to the Tottenham boss.

When Mourinho left Real Madrid, Ronaldo hinted that he would love to work with him again.

He said: “Work with Mourinho again? Why not? I would put him at the top, I always say that.”
