Michael Keane Talks about Battle with Coronavirus

Everton footballer, Michael Keane, recently talked about his run of ill health after he contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 27-year-old centre-back spoke to a newspaper publication about how he felt before he tested positive for the virus.
He mentioned that he had contracted the contagion during a squad training session, but just before the country went into quarantine in March.
Keane said: “I was in the shower, and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to faint … I didn’t think too much of it, I was like [okay], but then I woke up the next day and I felt really off.”
He later told the club physiotherapists and they had him tested – six days later, the tests indicated a positive result for COVID-19.
The English Premier League was stopped four months ago due to the pandemic, but will officially restart on 21 June.
Keane is excited to play again after such a lengthy period of time, as Everton will be hosting Liverpool on the day that the league restarts.
