Man City Agree Ferran Torres Transfer Fee With Valencia

Manchester City have entered into a deal with Valencia to sign highly-rated 20-year-old winger, Ferran Torres, for €23m plus bonuses.

The Spanish starlet has been catching the eye of giant clubs around Europe, such as Liverpool, Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United. However, Pep Guardiola has snatched the talented youngster on a five-year contract.

Torres is considered one of Spain’s most promising young players. He made his debut as a 17-year-old in 2017 from Valencia’s academy and scored three times. He got more exposure to first-team football this season, after replacing injured Goncalo Guede – and netted four goals with five assists in 34 appearances.

Valentia initially wanted €45m the youngest player to score in the Champions League, however, with the club failing to qualify for European football next season and Torres’s soon-to-expire contract, their final bargaining chip was lost to Man City.

It is a fantastic bargain price for the multi-talented winger.
