Liverpool Win Train Wobbles to a Halt

Liverpool has come down from Cloud Nine with a thunderous crash after losing 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, 3 March.
With three defeats within the space of four games, it’s hard not to see the Reds showing their fatigue when they played a lacklustre FA Cup game in the fifth round against the Blues last night.
Jurgen Klopp’s team made several opportunities for themselves but failed to capitalise, and Chelsea struck in the 13th minute when Willian striked an errant ball that just made it past Liverpool goalkeeper, Adrian.
The visitors tried to find their way back into the game, but were denied at every chance; the scoreboard soon reflected 2-0 at the 64th minute when Chelsea midfielder, Ross Barkley, trekked from the halfway line to find a corner of the Liverpool net.
After the match, Klopp acknowledged his side’s lack of luck lately, saying: “I am not worried about the momentum – momentum is not something you get as a present, you have to get it to keep it.”
