Kevin Spacey has revealed that he is effectively homeless, saying he now drifts between hotels and Airbnbs after years of financial strain linked to sexual misconduct allegations.

The 66-year-old actor told an international publication that he has “no home,” explaining that the costs he has faced since 2017 have been “astronomical,” with little income coming in to offset them.

Spacey lost his house during the fallout from multiple accusations that halted his once-dominant Hollywood career. Though he has consistently denied wrongdoing, he faced civil action in New York – where a jury found him not liable in 2022 – and a criminal trial in London, where he was acquitted of sexual assault charges in 2023.

The former “House of Cards” star said all his possessions are currently in storage and that he moves wherever work is available. Despite being frozen out of major studio projects, he has continued to take smaller roles and recently received public backing from actors Sharon Stone and Liam Neeson.

While cautious about predicting a full return, Spacey said he believes he will collaborate with prominent directors again, insisting the industry may simply be waiting for “permission” to welcome him back.
