Namibia recorded N$7.8 billion in export earnings during October 2022, compared to N$8.7 billion recorded in September 2022, according to the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA).

The imports bill amounted to N$9.5 billion in October 2022, compared to N$11.3 billion recorded in September 2022.

As a result, the trade deficit stood at N$1.7 billion in October 2022, an improvement by 33.5% when compared to a deficit of N$2.6 billion recorded the previous month.
