Major transfer news has been surrounding Jadon Sancho and Manchester United for some time, but the current COVID-19 pandemic and transfer market have put a pause on future announcements.

Sancho plays winger for German football club, Borussia Dortmund, as well as for the English national team – putting him in a prime spot to demand a premium for his talents.

The 20-year-old wunderkind has previously shown keen interest in transferring to Old Trafford, but bids from Chelsea and Real Madrid might delay his plans.

Dortmund currently has a price tag of £100 million on Sancho’s head, which has deterred Liverpool from the baying crowd.

He has ticked off all the requirements that United are looking for in a player, but his price tag remains the only obstacle.

However, the Red Devils’ coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, put it plainly last week during an interview when he said that his club was one of the “biggest, and financially well-off” to obtain high quality footballers.
