Bored Mourinho Wants Managerial Return

Former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has hinted at a possible managerial return during an interview on Thursday, 12 September.

Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United in December 2018 after the club’s rocky start to a season in 28 years, which saw them occupying the sixth position in the English Premier League, and in danger of missing out on the UEFA Champions League.

During a Spanish television interview, the 56-year-old Portuguese – who has since been doing some television punditry work for Sky Sports – was asked if he is still enjoying his time off the field.

He replied: “I’ve had enough, I’ve really had enough. I spent this summer like any other fan for the first time, [and] now I understand how that feels.”

In the wake of the European Championships qualifiers for 2020, Mourinho was also asked if he would consider coaching a national team. He quickly ruled out the option, saying he prefers overseeing daily training and playing at least two games a week.

Despite the itchiness of coming back to action, the Special One intends to not join any club before the start of the next campaign.
