2020/21 EPL Fixtures Released: Opening Matches & Key Dates

The Premier League has announced its full game schedule and dates for the 2020/21 campaign. The new, rearranged season will run from Saturday, September 12, to Sunday, May 23, 2021.
The Europe clubs are set to face an unprecedentedly dense competition, which will see teams barely getting a midweek rest throughout the year.
Reigning champions, Liverpool, will open the fixtures and begin their title defence at Anfield against newly promoted Leeds United on Saturday, 12 September 2020, while fellow Merseyside team, Everton, face Jose Mourinho’s squad at Tottenham Hotspur arena.
Another eye-catching match in the EPL opening weekend is the London derby, between Arsenal and another newly promoted club, Fulham at Craven Cottage stadium.
Manchester City and Manchester United, who just finished participating in the UEFA Champions League final knockouts, have been granted a little break, with their fixtures only starting a week later than their rivals.
Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have no reason to be angry about Liverpool’s fixtures for this season as Jurgen Klopp’s champions are to face the toughest start of the campaign.
Once the Reds have done battle against Leeds United, they will play Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton, Sheffield United, Manchester City, Leicester City and the Wolves in their following ten matches.
